FIX Dessert Chocolatier brought together some of the UAE’s best-known home-grown brands during a community-focused event held at Kite Beach over the weekend.
The two-day activation, titled “Messages from the UAE,” took place from May 9 to 10 and featured an interactive digital art installation designed to highlight unity, kindness and community spirit across the country.
According to organisers, nearly 6,500 public messages were submitted during the initiative, later transformed into a live digital word cloud displayed at the beach venue.
The event was organised in partnership with Careem and featured participation from several UAE-founded brands across the food, fashion, beauty and lifestyle sectors.
Participating brands included Humantra, Parker’s, BRED, Karen Wazen, Salt, Bake My Day, Somewhere and House of Habanero, among others.
Sarah Hamouda, Co-Founder of FIX Dessert Chocolatier, said the initiative aimed to create a shared moment for the community while celebrating the role local businesses play in bringing people together.
She noted that the response from visitors reflected the strong sense of support and connection within the UAE community.
Bassel Alnahlaoui, Chief Business Officer at Careem, said the event highlighted the unity and positivity that define the UAE, adding that supporting community-driven initiatives remains an important part of the company’s presence in the country.
The activation drew founders and representatives from several popular UAE brands, with organisers describing the event as a celebration of entrepreneurship, creativity and local collaboration.
