Kozhikode: The art exhibition ‘The Untolds’ by engineer and designer Amal Ned has commenced at the Lalithakala Akademi Art Gallery in Kozhikode, Kerala. The exhibition features 24 artworks. The pieces are presented in two series titled ‘The Untolds’ and ‘The Unseens’. The artworks are created using scribbling art and digital art techniques.

“Whenever I feel mentally disturbed or feel the urge to express something in my mind to someone, I scribble it on the Instagram story screen. Later, I transform those scribbles into artworks. The pieces in the ‘The Untolds’ series are created in this way,” says Amal.

He also explained that the ‘The Unseens’ series attempts to capture visuals from his dreams onto canvas.
