Trumpy Trout is an animatronic design meant to be mounted onto the wall and it is a playful piece of art that celebrates the iconic Big Mouth Billy Bass. The muse is also drawn from former US President Donald Trump who is personified through the blonde coiffure, small suit and tie, and orange-tinged complexion.
To move seamlessly, it is backed with motion sensors and the Trumpy Trou kicks off into movement when viewers approach it. It shows off an animate performance that comprises moving its mouth and fins around. This is paired together with high-fidelity audio that loudly proclaims to be “the hugest bigliest fish in the pond,” “all the fish love Trumpy, and “My fins are big. I have the biggest fins. No fish have fins like me.”
