Art history has always been a leading discipline among the humanities. Exhibitions, museums, art galleries, and events of national or international scope are redrawing the maps of an increasingly sought-after and recognized profession. For this reason, the Guglielmo Marconi University, a pioneer in digital education in Italy and open by vocation and destiny to interpreting every minor development in the country’s cultural strategies, proposes a new method of approaching the subject. ‘At the Heart of the Image’ covers thirty dense vignettes dedicated to seven centuries of history. These are short video lessons designed for an audience of students, enthusiasts, and teachers. A format intended not only for those who want to start dipping their toes in this sea but also for those who already know something and want to learn more. Under the guidance of art historian and critic Roberto Nicolucci, known for an approach to the subject that is not narrowly specialized, the initiative promises to combine academic rigor with modern accessibility. Each video is created to stimulate the curiosity of viewers of all ages, using social platforms for widespread dissemination. The publication will occur weekly on the university’s social profiles and will also be accessible through a dedicated section on the official website: Discover the project at: www.unimarconi.it/pillole-di-arte/
