The Trescott Street Gallery in Taunton is set to showcase a new exhibit by student artist Meagan Stebbins. According to a community announcement, “Where Nature Thrives: A Visual Journey” will run from Aug. 27 through 30.
Stebbins, a recipient of the Adrian Tinsley Program Grant from Bridgewater State University, is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in photography and graphic design. The exhibit will feature her research on how different regions interact with nature, including locations in New England, Japan, and England.
Visitors can view the exhibit from noon to 5 p.m. Wednesday, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday. A welcoming reception is planned for 6 to 8 p.m. on Aug. 29, with light refreshments served.

Stebbins’ work includes photographs taken with 35mm film and digital formats, paired with information cards detailing local laws and the background of each site. The exhibit aims to encourage reflection on human interactions with the environment. The exhibit is free and open to all.
