Several top sporting stars have contributed works of art to an exhibition to raise money for charity.
The Stars on Canvas exhibition has been held every two years since 2008 and has raised more than £230,000 for the Willow Foundation charity.
Cricketers Stuart Broad and Alastair Cook, former boxer Ricky Hatton and ex-England rugby international Martin Bayfield have contributed works, while from football, Roy Hodgson, John Terry and Theo Walcott are among the budding artists.
Bob Wilson, who set up the charity as a memorial to his daughter Anna, who died at 31, spoke to Sky Sports News HQ at the launch of the event but his personal selection was not from the world of football.
“I think I’m going to go for Willie Carson,” he said. “The effort he has made with his canvas is terrific and he’s made a really big effort with it.”
The Stars on Canvas exhibition opened at the Quadrant Arcade in London’s Regent Street and will run from November 23-27.
The Willow Foundation works with seriously ill young adults aged 16 to 40 to fulfil uplifting and unforgettable special days.
